Instinct was asked to provide a night of entertainment that was both family friendly and engaging. It had to include a large component of talent that could be performed acoustically, should there be difficulties with power as the result of inclement weather. Instinct presented a concert featuring some of the very best talent the city had to offer.
A bit about the Entertainment for Federation Square’s New Year event 2010 Public Event
Approximately 85,000 people turned out to enjoy the festivities, the party revelers were all in fine form to enjoy the great selection of live music.
The Cover Band Hit Parade were an amazing, such a sleek and sophisticated act, looking great and performing brilliantly. They loved getting the audience involved & everyone was grooving to Hit Parade’s great repertoire covering all the classic soul, disco, 80’s and contemporary hits.
Also taking the main stage Funk Junk playing percussional rhythms on Industrial Instruments made from junk. Yes that right recycled junk – recycled metal and plastic containers providing the drum sounds and hub caps off old Holden’s that grab the audiences attention as they spin & shine and are played in perfect time.
