We engaged Soul Chic to play at both our wedding ceremony and reception and it was the best decision we made! They were professional and accommodating from the start and it was clear that their only concern for the night was to make sure that we were happy. We had a guitar, cello and vocalists at the ceremony and the music was magical. At the reception the full band engaged well with an audience and knew how to work a crowd. At one point in the night I looked back over the venue and it looked empty – everyone was on the dance floor! The music was outstanding, a lot of guests commented that we had raised the bar when it came to wedding receptions. The atmosphere of the whole night was relaxed, fun and full of the right kind of energy and we attribute a lot of this to the great music selection which was put together by both us and Soul Chic. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band to play at their party – they really made our day special.

Having a 6 piece band at our wedding really made the night and our guests are still talking about it. Fi was great to work with and very accommodating. SoulArte catered to all our guests (young & old) and were amazing.

Entice-They were fantastic!! Everyone loved them and danced during all their sets. Unfortunately we ran way overtime from the start, so their sets were squashed together at the end of the night. But that was our fault – they just modified what they were doing to suit our timings. I wished they could play for another hour!

We were fortunate enough to come across Sam McCool as a comedian for our charity fundraising event Ten Stars, to raise money for the Oncology Children’s Foundation on Saturday 27th August 2011 at Bondi Social. Lucky for us Sam, is not just a comedian, he’s a ‘Master of Atmosphere’ and a ‘Mood Changer’. Without a doubt it was Sam’s words, wit and charm that relaxed the crowd, lifted the atmosphere so that every single person in the room was in stitches of laughter. I can safely say, that after Sam performed we noticed a huge spike in the level of raffle ticket sales and silent auction bidding on the evening. I am certain that Sam’s entertainment set the mood for the crowd on the night that resulted in us raising $20,000 for this wonderful cause.

Weeks after the event I still have clients and guests commenting on how great ‘that Sam comedian was’ and if he ‘Does he do corporate gigs? I’d like him to do ours’. One guest on the evening (who spent a lot of money on a few silent auction prizes) said ‘Sam was great, he addressed everyone in the room, no-one felt left out. He has to be the funniest comedian I have ever seen’. I have no hesitation in recommending Sam McCool to anyone wanting to leave a lasting and memorable impression on their guests. We’ll be hiring Sam Mc Cool again next year for our event, without a doubt.

Our wedding was truly everything we dreamed of and enhanced even more by your lovely music. We were very happy with everything and had great feedback from a lot of our guests. We had a number of people comment on the Rick Astley song (that seriously needs to be adopted into the repertoire!) and also had one friend say they were going to book DJ Carl to play exactly the same set for her 40th coming up. I think we definitely made the right choice with Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Your beautiful music complimented the beautiful surrounds and set the tone for the day! – J. & A.
