Downtown Jazz provides excellent music and presentation, an aural and visual experience, setting the mood for your venue.

They can perform as a Duo or as a THREE PIECE band:Vocals/guitar/saxophone. Or they can perform as a FOUR PIECE band: Vocals/guitar/saxophone/double bass.

Rohan Wallis(vocals & Trumpet): A full time jazz musician, arranger & composer, appearing regularly at venues in Melbourne such as Bennetts Lane jazz club, Paris Cat jazz club, Dizzy’s jazz club, Tony Starr’s Kitten Club, The Espy, The Belgian Beer Bar and Blue Diamond Club.
Rohan’s velvet smooth vocal style is contrasted by his big energetic trumpet sound together with professional hosting to make him one of Melbourne’s premiere entertainers.

Repertoire of jazz and funk classics to 50’s/60’s rock n’ roll, Rhythm & Blues and soul music of past and present from artists such as:
James Brown, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, Burt Bacharach, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Nat King Cole, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Sting, The Meters, Neville Brothers:

Annemarie Sharry (vocals): A respected vocal tutor at private schools in Melbourne, Annemarie is also a professional performer in jazz, funk, soul and rhythm and blues music styles. She performs regularly around Melbourne at Bennetts Lane jazz club, Paris Cat jazz club, Dizzy’s jazz club, The Prince of Wales, The Night Cat and has been doing weddings and corporate gigs for over ten years. Her soulful and big warm vocal sound has made her a favourite vocalist for many diverse occasions. Repertoire from artists such as:

Roberta Flack, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Astred Gilberto, Dionne Warwick, Billie Holiday, Burt Bacharach, Van Morrison, Cyndi Lauper, Aretha Franklin.
