Biography

From soul, funk and jazz to disco, 80s, 90s and a selection of today’s hits, we deliver our own unique take on your favourite songs from the past and present. And versatility is our key. Available as a Duo with guitarist Diego or up to a 5 piece band.

We can set the mood with lounge music and jazz; ease into some soul and funk to get things moving; and then bust out some party tunes that will have everyone on the dance floor. And our music selection music will appeal to everyone – from teenagers to grandparents, we work hard to tailor the night’s music to suit the crowd and the occasion.

In addition to regularly performing at corporate functions (our clients include IBM, Foxtel, Sony Music Australia, Channel 10, Today Show, QV, Trampoline Ice Cream and Pacific Hydro – who have hired us three years in a row for their EOFY party), we play at dozens of weddings every year, even as far afield as Bali and Phuket, where we were flown by international couples who found us online.

And we bring the party to some of Melbourne’s favourite establishments, week in, week out. Regularly performing at Transit, World Bar & Restaurant, The Bridge Hotel, Ludlow, The Bridge Hotel and Shadowfax Winery. It’s these regular bar shows that makes fun such fun as a function band.

The Night Cats: available as a duo, trio, four or five piece (larger configurations available on request), to play at pretty much any wedding or celebration, big or small. Come and see what all the fuss is about.
