Biography

SAJEE: – LEAD VOCALIST/ PERCUSSION
Sajee has been entertaining audiences in Australia and overseas for 30 years. She has a strong presence on stage with powerhouse vocals and dynamic dance moves to accompany any performance. Sajee is an entertainer not just a singer and has been highly regarded in Melbourne as a world class performer. She has fronted various corporate and wedding bands and is the founder and leader of the Soul Party Band.

MATT:- RHYTHM AND LEAD GUITARIST/ LEAD AND BACKING VOCALS
Originally hailing from Sydney where Matt was recognised and exulted as a top guitarist and bass player , he now brings the musical dynamics to Soul Party as their most accomplished rhythm and lead guitarist. Matt has worked in various corporate and wedding bands including duo work and is also a competent lead and backing vocalist.

WAYNE:- SAXOPHONIST
Wayne has been playing Saxophone for over 30 years and adds magic to the sounds of Soul Party with his searing saxophone lines. He has played in various bands including James Brown Tributes and Joe Cocker tribute shows. Audiences immediately are drawn to his playing with many commenting how wonderful it is to hear the saxophone played so sensuously and with such sizzle !

PETER:- BASS GUITARIST/ BACKING VOCALS
Peter brings the all important bottom edge to the rhythm section of Soul Party. With his uncanny ability to pick up a song within seconds of hearing it and then adding his own dynamic flair to the bass runs Peters bass playing always brings an audience to their feet !

MICK- DRUMMER
All you can say about Micks drumming is WOW ! So rhythmic and full of presence he completes the rhythm section of Soul Party with a vengeance !
