Siobhán | Harpist

Biography

Siobhán is a freelance harpist who has graduated with a Masters Degree in Music Performance from the TU Dublin Conservatory of Music and Drama, having previously received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Maynooth University. Siobhán studied the Irish harp and the pedal harp with the renowned harpist Denise Kelly McDonnell.

Siobhán has experience performing at Weddings, Civil Ceremonies, Corporate Events, Funerals, and Concerts, in a variety of different venues such as Áras an Uachtaráin, Croke Park, Adare Manor, Dublin City Hall, Trinity College Dublin, Malahide Castle, Newbridge House, The Merrion Hotel, The Shelbourne Hotel, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, and many more. She has also preformed on National Television and Radio on numerous occasions. Siobhán has developed a wide range of repertoire on both the Irish harp and the pedal harp from a variety of different genres including Classical, Irish Traditional, and Popular/Contemporary.

Siobhán also teaches students of all ages and levels from beginners to advanced. She is a passionate teacher and performer, and is a true advocate for the harp.
