Biography

Simply a Band ranges from a 4 piece to a 10 piece covers band to suit weddings large and small.

Corporate cover band and Wedding band.  We can play beautiful wedding ceremony music then move to party covers band with saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, electric violin, keyboard, male and female vocals. We don’t use any backing tracks and the band plays every note live. We are all young, professional and degree qualified musicians with decades of music training – all this means is that you are in safe and very experienced hands. Our band members line up various according to what is needed.

When you book us we will play any song you choose live for your first dance… and guarantee to get your guests up on the dance floor. We play soft background music for drinks, canapes and dinner – then upbeat party music for dancing. In fact we love requests which is why we can add a DJ.

Then once the cake is cut and the first dance begun, the band kicks off the dancing with party music starting with classic dance floor tunes for the oldies before moving onto the new stuff. This way the music appeals to the young… and the not so young.

Most couples need wedding reception music for 5 hours – but you can book us for longer if you need. We will play up to 4 x 45 minute sets of live wedding reception music over this time and our DJ takes over during the band breaks. We play different wedding reception music styles to fit in with each of these parts of your wedding celebration.
