Biography

Sarah Lloyde is one of Australia’s best kept secrets, but not for long. With a strong, soulful voice she’s already a star in her own right with extensive dance and performance experience and a captivating personality to complete the full package.

From an early age Sarah strived to make a name for herself in the Australian entertainment industry and started from the age of 10 by winning all local and national singing competitions entered and making regular appearances on well known TV shows and events! She then went on to perform in high profile local bands as soon as age permitted including The Flaming Sambuca’s and the very popular South Australian children’s band The Funkees.

In 2007, Sarah made it to the top 16 of Australian Idol and then signed with one of the best management teams in Australia, Peppermint Blue. Having managed artists such as The Rouge Traders, Amy Pearson, and TV Rock, in recent years, Peppermint blue has teamed Sarah with some high profile producers, songwriters and performers such as Josh Abrahams (Totally Addicted to Bass), Kittygroove (Sven Tydeman and Richie Neville- member of the UK boy band 5ive), Cheyne Coats (Madison Avenue) and US Super Star Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbour).

During this time, Sarah also joined Adelaide’s top show band Blackjack (Ding Productions) and starred as Mary Magdalene in Gilbert and Sullivan’s production of Jesus Christ Super Star. Working alongside some of Australia’s most sought after artists.

In 2012 she entered into Australia’s highest rating televised talent competition The Voice and made it to the top 24 where she was controversially knocked out in the Battle Rounds.

Sarah is now in the midst of writing and recording her original album in Sydney, Melbourne and UK, with sights set to be released within 6 to 12 months!
