Recently returned to the music scene in Perth, Maera is a successful original Singer/Songwriter and cover artist, having covered most popular venues in and around Perth in a solo, duo or band format.
2008 Maera released a full-length album “Someday Now” envisioned and successful to independently release the album made locally from the graphic design, musicians to the mixing and mastering. Collaborating with some of Perth’s top musicians Arun Satgunasingam on drums, Roy Martinez on bass, Ben Bernal lead guitar, James Sandon saxophone, Rose Parker and Matthew Paki on backing vocals.

Maera left the music scene late 2009 at the peak of her musical career, having a Friday residency at one of Perth’s top Live music venues The Universal Bar as an original music band to pursue other career avenues that took her to the far north of Western Australia.
Returning to Perth September 2015 Maera has developed and critiqued her performance to be one of Perth’s sought-after musicians.
Since her return Maera has supported Perth’s original artist TOBY, Carus Thompson, Belle Harvey and one of Australia’s favorite artists, Kate Ceberano and Mick Thomas. Maera has previously warmed the stage for USA blues sensation Eugene Hideaway Bridges Australia’s Grace Knight and The Hoodoo Gurus.
Maera performs weekly in and around Perth, holding residencies with her band ORA at various locations around the CBD. ORA comprises of Marc Pereira on bass and backing vocals and Wayne Antioch on drums and also backing vocals.
Maera has started 2017 with a number of different music projects, has install a independent album release early 2018 and continues to fine tune her craft on her mission to impact lives through music.
