Josh Thomas
At the age of just 17 Josh Thomas was the youngest ever winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Comedy Competition in 2005. He also made the finals of So You Think You’re Funny, Edinburgh’s equivalent to RAW Comedy.

Josh is a comedian (hopefully.) He is surprisingly popular, if you take into account his face and personality. Josh was a regular favourite on Network Ten’s Good News Week, has appeared several times on ABC’s QandA, hosted the prestigious Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala and was the Generation Y Team Captain on Network Ten’s Talkin’ ‘bout Your Generation.
In 2013 the show he wrote and starred in, Please Like Me, premiered on ABC2 and launched brand new cable network Pivot.tv in the USA.
The show was received with critical acclaim listed in the “Best TV Shows of 2013” by Entertainment Weekly, The New Yorker and Time Magazine to name a few and it also received a nomination for an International Emmy Award in 2014.
Please Like Me was back for a second season in both Australia and the US in 2014 and was again listed as one of Entertainment Weekly’s Best TV Shows for the year. A third series has now gone into production for 2015.
