Biography

After over a decade in the business, Janelle’s unique blend of honest stand-up, cheeky songs and sometimes far too personal tales about all aspects of her own life have made her a favourite amongst Australian and international audiences. Janelle has supported Wayne Brady and Puppetry of the Penis at the Crown Showroom, and her own solo shows at Fringe World and PICF were sold out weeks in advance. She has been Joel Creasey and Em Rusciano’s writing partner for two years, and a contributing writer for the recent smash hit ‘Effie – The Virgin Bride’. Janelle has a regular segment on Perth’s hit92.9 brekkie show, is the TV columnist for The Guide magazine in The Sunday Times and has over 9000 followers on her Facebook page. She’s fun, fabulous, flirty and always a hit, and proud to consider herself a ‘real woman’, but keeps her skinny jeans, just in case.
