George Halkias is a well respected community figure who has supported some of the most vulnerable members in our community. Over the past 15 years he has coordinated innovative services and programs that have changed the lives of many Australians.
Following completion of a psychology degree, George has worked extensively in the government and community sectors on various ground breaking projects. He has used his skills to find unique ways to involve the corporate world in his projects, such as the recent 2008 Homeless World Cup in Melbourne.
A passionate and entertaining speaker, George now passes on much of his insight, experience and wisdom to professionals, aspiring leaders and the wider community. He believes in raising the awareness and educating individuals on a range of social issues whist inspiring them to reach higher levels in their own fields.
