The Australian circus industry continues to flourish, providing us with an array of spectacular contemporary and traditional circus artists bringing stunning performance onto our stages and into our events. Circus is an art form like no other and, as its popularity continues to grow, the art form continues to evolve and adapt, incorporating traditional styles with new, borrowing a hint of burlesque or a touch of the grotesque to create an art form that is ever innovative, inspiring, tantalising and engaging.
Circus performers require a physical and mental dedication and discipline demanded of no other art form. Our artists have spent years hurting, sweating, bleeding and risk taking to achieve the level of skill that they bring to the stage for the audience to enjoy.

George Le Couteur – Circus, MC and Variety performer
Having trained intensively at Circo Arts in New Zealand, George has since performed at the forefront of modern circus. He is skilled in a vast array of performance crafts from juggling, hosting and master of ceremonies, manipulation and German wheel, and has a mild obsession with slapstick clowning and knock about acrobatics. His Vintage styling makes him the perfect selection for period themed events.

Perfect for Vintage, Carnival and Traditional style circus shows and events. Strong Man Jesse will impress patrons with his rippling muscles and range of strong man skills such as bending metal bars and tearing books in half! He also has experience manning the “High Striker” at Fairs and Carnivals. In his high waisted pants and braces, he is the perfect accompaniment to your Vintage Circus theme. 1 hour sets

Watch astounded as he builds his tower higher and higher, performing a daring handstand on this precarious stack. This smart equilibrist can be costumed ‘colourful circus’ or ‘cabaret sophisticated.’ Perfect for functions, cabaret or parties. 5 minute performance can also do 20 mins roving walking globe.

Marlena Dali Side Show, Stilts and Fire
Originally from California, Marlena is quickly becoming the side show darling of Sydney. Cutting her sideshow teeth as the Snake Lady and Wild Woman in the Venice Beach Freakshow, Marlena now expertly performs a range of side show stunts including human blockhead, walking on broken glass, bed of nails and swallowing balloons. She also performs stilting, fire eating and dancing, clowning and magic. If you are looking for a little quirk in your circus, Marlena is for you! performance time varies.
Kiki & Pascal Comedy Circus shows and MC
This delightful comic duo artfully combines circus and comedy to deliver a highly entertaining and skilful show. Acts include 5 club juggle, acrobatics, sword box and tennis racquet contortion. You may also get some singing and audience interaction if the mood takes them. This daring duo will have you somewhere between midly affronted and majorly amused. 20 minutes show

Juggling and Skipping Unicycle 5 min performance
Rodrigo Hoyos is the newest performer in town! He studied at the National School Circo Para Todos in Colombia for 4 years before embarking on a world wide circus career. His amazing talents have taken him to London, France, Venezuela and Ireland and he has just settled in to Sydney after numerous contracts with P&O Cruises and UK cruise lines. He most recently completed a 4 month contract in Colombia’s most prestigious show “Delirio”. This latino really lights up the stage with his flamboyant unicycle routine in which is juggles, skips and rides up and down stairs without a hitch! – see videos below

Zebastian is a multi‐talented performer with experience in dance, drama and circus. He has enjoyed an extensive career which has led him to perform on four continents, entertaining millions of people worldwide for some of the biggest entertainment companies in the world including most recently four years with Cirque du Soleil. Zebastian’s contortion act is a combination of his world class skills and training, brought to the stage for your enjoyment. 4 minute show
Hypnotist & Magician – Adam
Description: Mastering his craft on the streets of East London, Adam Axford fuses urban culture with the ancient art of magic. A hypnotist and accomplished magician, Adam combines everyday items such as money, phones rings and lighters with fire, smoke and gravity defiance to captivate a modern audience. Intimate stage shows and close up magic available .

Three High Acrobatics
Description: Chair Stacking handstand and adagio
High skills meet danger in this precarious balance act. Using simple chairs these acrobats flip, stack and balance their way to a dizzying height. Available with 1, 2 or 3 performers or can perform 20 min show with cast of 5 performers 4 acrobats (handbalance, teeterboard, acrobatics and cyr wheel) + 1 aerial silks – see video below for example of their work.

Ell Bella – Juggling – Melbourne
This is a pretty, sweet and highly skilled act, performed in a red dress to a Frank Sinatra Soundtrack – with a dramatic chainsaw finale – not your average juggling act. Show duration 8 minutes. Also available as a roving juggler.
Elena is one of Australia’s most exciting circus performers and the worlds only female chainsaw juggler. Her credits include an internationally touring street show, her own late night variety show, acts suitable for cabaret shows, corporate events and music festivals, as well as professional services as an MC, roving juggler and more.

This fun and charismatic roving character, Simon, skips, jumps, juggles and cruises around on one wheel delighting audiences. Contortion Jacinta Rohan – Melbourne
Description: NICA graduate Jacinta Rohan is recognised as one of the most talented contortionists in Australia. Be spellbound by her amazing contortion and hula hooping ability as she performs a range of acts from the beautiful to the slightly grotesque!

Swing’s the Thing – Melbourne
Description: Dynamic aerials, powerful circus tricks, and amazing swing dancing are combined into an act that is fast paced and fun to watch. Grace and Rollins dance with a 50’s flair as they move through East Coast Swing, Lindy hop, 20’s and 40’s Charleston, and Jitterbug. This routine is unique to the Australian circus industry and is a great addition to any show or event.

Back to the Future – hoops and ribbon
Description: Miss Skopalova’s hula hoops and ribbon act is an homage to the popular movie trilogy Back to the Future. Seamlessly moving through the eras, the act sees her hooping through the 1950’s and 1980’s and finishing with a racy, modern day ribbon routine.

Mark is a Contemporary Circus Artist studying at the National Institute of Circus Arts. A versatile performer, in both artistic and character Acts. His handstand performance show 4 mins – see video below
Mark specialises in Aerial Hoop and Handstands, with a particular proclivity for tumbling. Previously Mark has performed with and mentored Cirkus Surreal, a High School Circus who tours internationally and was lucky enough to travel over seas on a tour to America and Canada.
