Biography

Sydney Duo

Sydney Duo with a combined fan base of over 8,000 people, Chris Ah Gee and Jazzella are two of Australia’s most promising upcoming artists. Both self-taught singer/songwriter/musicians have managed to create a big name for themselves in their separate Queensland home towns, and came together in 2015 to create an East-Coast Tour of Australia.

The tour was highly successful and after playing over 50 shows within 2 months, Chris Ah Gee and Jazzella have permanently relocated to Sydney to pursue their music careers.

This duo presents a fun, diverse and entertaining show with an alternative soul/rnb style that can be tailored to suit different audiences and venues. Chris Ah Gee and Jazzella are highly experienced and professional musicians and always make sure they leave behind a happy audience.

As young, experienced and professional musicians it has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get them to this exciting stage of their career. Chris launched himself onto the Cairns music scene as a solo artist in 2011 and has since been awarded Cairns Number one artist in both the solo and duo categories for two years running in the Cairns Hit Awards. You may also recognize Chris from the national TV show Australia’s Got Talent, in which he made it to the semifinals. After working in the live music scene for three years, and supporting superstar acts such as Russell Morris, Stan Walker and Powderfinger’s Bernard Fanning just to name a few, Chris has refined his musical and stage presence and brings this experience to present a high energy show with an alternative soul style that can be tailored to suit different audiences and venues.

Jazzella has been performing professionally since 2012 when she was selected to represent Australia against 50 other countries in the World Championships of Performing Arts, held in Hollywood USA. Jazzella has also appeared on the national TV show X FACTOR where she made it to the top 10 girls of Australia for 2013. Since then she has worked closely with and been mentored by Printz Board who is the producer of The Black Eyed Peas. This is also the man behind the music of Katy Perry, Chris Brown and Michael Jackson. Jazzella has developed a unique and soulful musical experience and captures the audience with her diverse talent as she performs everything from original songs to acoustic pop, RnB, hip hop and reggae music depending on what suits the venue.

This Duo is perfect for your next event.
