Sally Street is a uniquely entertaining jazz and blues artist emerging from the Sydney jazz scene. With a stop in your tracks and listen presence, Sally’s charisma, vibrantly vivacious voice and captivating style are packaged to storm the world of jazz. Sally grew up in the Northern Beaches bewitched by sounds of the wild surf and jazz. Sally has been immersed in the world of music since she was born, as her father Don McAskill was one of Sydney’s top bass players who’s passion for jazz was all consuming as work and as play.
Sally is happiest when she lights up those around with the magic of her voice. Sally’s new album is recorded and due to be released early 2007, bringing a collection of her favourite musical escapes to tantalize, entertain and enrich her audience. In essence Sally Street puts the muse back into music and brings razzle dazzle into the magical world of jazz.
