NESSA MORGAN is described by Grammy Award Winning producers as the “Official Voice of Soul Downunder”.
After a standing ovation at the BMG Industry Night for her performance of “Midnight Train to Georgia”, Nessa went on to her live public debut at the 2004 East Coast Blues & Roots Festival performing songs from her debut album “Sex & Poverty” produced by the legendary Don Was.
Reviewers raved, calling her Australia’s first bona fide soul diva. Since then she has gone on to headline most big festivals including the Melbourne International Festival and support Alicia Keys on her nationwide tour in late 2004. She is currently set to release the first single off her new independent album, NesKa.
