Biography

Lauren has been performing mostly jazz professionally since 2007. She performs mostly with Toby Wren – guitarist and Wade Gregory – pianist. Lauren has appeared Internationally at Jazz After Dark in London (2005) and at Festivals in Australia including Broadbeach Jazz Festival, Valley Jazz Festival, Ipswich Jazz and Wine Festival, Noosa Jazz Festival and Melbourne Women’s International Jazz Festival. She has recorded two EPs, one Duo Ep with Toby Wren and one live EP with a band. Lauren, in a duo, trio or quartet, performs jazz standards, often arranged in her style, and she also loves to sing some originally arranged pop tunes and originals. Laurens honesty, invention and bountiful intuition for sophisticated musical interaction emphasises her unique originality.
