Joel Salom
Joel is a diversely experienced performer who is simultaneously a comedian, juggler, gadget man and M.C.
As a comedy act he has performed solo and as an ensemble member in more than 20 countries over the last 18 years.
In San Francisco, with Circus Oz the critics said, “The irrepressible Joel Salom is an outstanding all-round comic, whether as a skilfully inept acrobat or artfully off-colour juggler. As the Ring Master for Circus Oz on 42nd street, NYC, the critics said, “Ringmaster Joel Salom, whose ridiculous patter and terrifying use of ping-pong balls keeps the show afloat.” – The New York Sun.
Joel’s theatre show has toured to over 60 theatres in Australia and festivals in Portugal, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Germany, South Korea, The Woodford Folk Festival, HOOPLA Circus and Street Theatre Festival (Darling Harbour) and The Taranaki Arts Festival (New Zealand).
Gadgets received the Innovation award by ACAPA for the National Australian Tour.
He has acted in commercials for OPSM, Breakers, Cadburys, Responsible Gambling and Hyundai, also has performed at hundreds of corporate events and festivals over the last 18 years.
