Dan Hamill Band

Corporate show band fronted by Australia’s King of Swing, Hamill, is the most refreshing act to hit the Australian scene. The essence of Sinatra, the flare of Buble’ and the swagger of Timberlake give him an international edge that puts him at the top of his game. “Walking on stage I know people want more than just a singer and a band these days… They want an experience….” Hamill says. His take on each song is original and fresh with it’s delivery only matched by his effortless perfomance, Hamill knows when to embrace you and when to lift you so the whole night becomes a celebration for your ears.

To fuse the familiarity of contemporary chart toppers with the sounds of motown and swing is no mean feat, Hamill not only shakes this mix but serves it dry with the kick you’ve longed for leaving you with a taste for more. From MJ to Coldplay, Adele to Pharrell you won’t be able to leave the dance floor once he takes the stage. On screen Dan has appeared in television commercials, both short and feature films. Including ‘Between Me’ by award winning director Kim Farrant, which was recently selected in the Cannes short film corner. With guest lead roles on City Homicide, Neighbours, Hard Rock Medical (Canada), the Doctor Blake Mysteries and the ABC tele-movie THE BROKEN SHORE. Dan’s on screen performances were even included in TV WEEKS Best Moments of 2011. For two years Hamill played one of the main characters Boxter, in the animated international cartoon series- Shezow, which aired in the US and Channel 10 and was nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award.

With such enviable credits already to his name, Hamill has made the seamless transition to form the DAN HAMILL BAND, Which has been described as Australia’s answer to Michael Bublé with a Justin Timberlake twist.
