Biography

Brian Chapman is a professional solo acoustic artist performing popular and classic covers.

Always a crowd pleaser, Brian effortlessly pumps out songs from the current Top 40, 60s, 70,s 80’s, 90’s and 00’s. Instead of using a set list, he prefers to select from his huge repertoire on the night to fit the crowd.

Brian is a nationally accomplished singer/songwriter, awarded the prestigious title of Australian Songwriter of the Year in 2011. He was also awarded several Australian Songwriting Association Awards since 2010 including Best Contemporary/Pop Song for 2012 and Best Song of the Rock Category in 2011.

He has performed as both lead singer and guitarist in a variety of rock cover bands as well his own original band. He has been influenced heavily by John Mayer and Eric Clapton and has supported and played with leading bands such as The Living End, Superjesus, Hoodoo Gurus, Taxi Ride and Screaming Jets. His dynamic vocal abilities, inspirational guitar and percussive accompaniment create a sound that is hard to find in any solo performer.

Brian brings his pop/rock sound to classic cover songs taking each one to a new level.
