Andrew De Silver – The Entertainer
Andrew De Silva’s history in the Australian music scene goes back further than most. Andrew’s career started professionally as front man and primary song-writer for Australian R&B group CDB at the age of 19 but being born into a musical family saw his musical education begin much earlier at the age of 8 years old. As part of CDB, Andrew De Silva received an ARIA for highest selling single Let’s Groove which went Platinum, while the subsequent album
Glide With Me achieved Gold Sales. In 2012 Andrew won the hearts of the Australian public taking out the winning title Australia’s Got Talent performing his original heartfelt songs
to the nation. Andrew has recently been the support for various acts including Mariah
Carey Eric Benet & Boys II Men. Andrew has a great reputation for his live performances with his amazing band playing the latest R&B hits by Pharrell ,Bruno Mars,Robin Thicke etc & also all the classic Soul & R&B favourites. As a performer Andrew’s live shows are not to be missed.His musicianship reflects wealth of experience performing at many live venues around the
country.

Andrew De Silva ‘s talents have been recognised internationally. He co-wrote the title track on Dwayne Wiggin’s(Toni Tony Tone) debut album and also featured on vocals.Considering the album also featured Santana,Hootie and the Blowfish,he was in extremely good company. Andrew has also written and worked with artists such as Tina Arena, Marcia Hines,Natalie Bassingthwaighte ,Dale Ryder and Jessica Mauboy to name a few.
Singer and songwriter of R&B group ‘CDB’, De Silva toured throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia, leading them to accomplish great success, here and abroad. They opened shows for Boys II Men,Tina Arena,Desere’ and K-ci & Jo-jo to name a few.
