The Alexjandro Band

The Alexjandro Band plays unique music inspired by Latin jazz, flamenco and rumba. The band’s wide-ranging repertoire includes both original and traditional compositions, which can be adapted to cater for specific venues, events and audiences. The Alexjandro Band offers a dynamic mix of Spanish guitars, vocals and percussion.
In addition to playing regularly for festivals, private functions and corporate events across Australia, The Alexjandro Band holds a number of concerts and live shows throughout the year. Recent performance highlights include Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, National Gallery Victoria, Melbourne Town Hall, RACV Club, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Politix, Cranlana and The Spirit of Tasmania.
ALEJANDRO
guitarist / composer
Alejandro developed a passion for guitar at the age of 17. Initially, he was mentored by a Spanish family friend who had dedicated his life to flamenco guitar. His strong work ethic and a love of the guitar has became a way of life for Alejandro.
Throughout his professional career, Alejandro has accepted several unique opportunities to travel and play around Australia and New Zealand, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Japan, Vietnam, India and Thailand. With a strong technique, innate sense of rhythm and an open mind, he has the ability to establish a strong rapport with local musicians and has performed as a guest artist alongside a variety of talented musicians from many genres.
