Biography

Covering a wide range of styles, including Jazz, funk, pop, Agar duo aims to be both exciting and tasteful. Featuring tenor/soprano saxophone as well as electric/acoustic guitar and pedals, the duo has built a reputation for sensitivity and creativity beyond convention. Both musicians strive to break the traditional Jazz duo stereotype, playing with electronic loops, sounds and modern textures. This gives them a much broader dynamic to their music; their sound is full and warm. Agar Duo is truly professional, adaptable and versatile, due largely to the musicianship of the two performers. Both young men are passionate and creative while being hard working. They have a good sense of humour and adventure, making them the interesting duo they have strived to be.
