The Smooth Jazz Trio are all conservatorium trained musicians who play regularly in many different bands. Their focus in this band is to play swinging Jazz that makes people want to move while not being overbearing. They are equally comfortable playing Jazz and Swing standards for an older crowd or Soul and Pop classics in a Jazz style for a younger crowd.

Biography

The Smooth Jazz Trio are all conservatorium trained musicians who play regularly in many different bands. Their focus in this band is to play swinging Jazz that makes people want to move while not being overbearing. They are equally comfortable playing Jazz and Swing standards for an older crowd or Soul and Pop classics in a Jazz style for a younger crowd.

Although they usually perform as a piano trio with double bass and drums they can add singers or horn players to augment the sound or for smaller functions perform as a duo.
