Blue Moon are a captivating 4 piece jazz, funk, soul and pop band based in Melbourne, specializing in live music for weddings, corporate functions and parties. Our sound ranges from romantic ballads and background dinner music to funk and pop tunes that will have you dancing all night long. Vocalist and front person Maryanne is a passionate and soulful singer, and has been described as Alicia Keys meets Norah jones.

Comprising experienced professional musicians, all with degrees in music performance, Blue Moon is sure to deliver music for a fantastic evening. Blue Moon members have been playing together for several years and have played everywhere from jazz clubs to packed festivals. Blue Moon is a great all round Melbourne Band. We take pride in our reputation as a high level, professionally run band and will work to ensure that everything goes perfectly so all you have to do is relax and have a great time.

A bit about Maryanne

Maryanne is a contemporary vocalist based in Melbourne, Australia. She began singing as a child and has been performing in venues around Melbourne since 2004.

Maryanne, as mentioned above is the lead singer of Blue Moon and she prides herself in the band’s reputation for professionalism and excellence. Studying contemporary singing at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Maryanne is passionate about all areas of music including performing, writing, arranging and teaching.

Maryanne is also a qualified professional vocal coach. She is well versed in a range of contemporary styles with a focus on developing confidence, creativity and developing technical ability.
