Vince Colosimo’s Biography With a string of screen credits to his name in Australian film and television Vince Colosimo is admired by men and women alike for his charm, smooth persona and striking Italian looks.

Vince Colosimo is one of Australia’s most recognised and celebrated actors. Vince first rose to attention in the critically acclaimed feature films Street Hero and Moving Out, which earned him an AFI Award nomination for Best Actor and a Sydney Film Critics Circle Award for Best New Talent.

His other feature credits include Lantana, Chopper, Walking on Water, The Wog Boy, The Hard Word, The Nugget and Opal Dream.   His recent film work includes Ridley Scott’s Body of Lies, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, the Spierig Brothers’ Daybreakers, opposite Willem Dafoe, Ethan Hawke and Claudia Karvan, Wog Boy 2: The Kings of Mykonos and Craig Lahiff’s Swerve.

In 2011, Vince was seen in Michael Rymer’s independent feature Face to Face which earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the Tulsa International Film Festival and the Jury Award for Best Actor at the Newport Beach Film Festival.

He has worked extensively in television including The Secret Life of Us, City Homicide, Kath & Kim, We Can Be Heroes, Two Twisted, Wicked Love, Scorched, Carla Cametti PD, The Librarians and his unforgettable AFI and Logie nominated performance as ‘Alphonse Gangitano’ in Underbelly. He also guest starred on the top rating US series, Without a Trace, and the final series of The Practice.

Vince was a presenter for the Nine Network series Customs and Families of Crime, he also featured in the SBS series Who Do You Think You Are?, where he discovered his family’s ancestors in the South of Italy.   In 2012, Vince will appear in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby and the Starz series Spartacus: War of the Damned.

Vince is a popular MC and his most recent events include the Seafood Excellence Awards, Shell Ferrari Media Event, Qantas Holidays Achievers Awards and the Launch of the Sydney Italian Festival.
