Biography

MC/Host

Tim Gossage has been in the WA Media for almost 30 years with the last 25 spent as part of Network Ten. He is Chanel Ten Perth’s Director of Sport who has produced and presented the nightly sports news. For 10 years Tim was the co-host of the very popular local footy show “The Western Front.”

During his time with Ten, Tim has worked on a variety of productions including 7 years on the Melbourne Cup coverage and called AFL for five years. Tim has also hosted and commentated NBL Basketball and the Hopman Cup for Ten.

In 2012, Tim was honoured with the Cometti Award for outstanding service in the WA Football Media Industry over a long period of time

In November 2013, Tim was named the Geoff Christian Medal winner for excellence in WA Football Media over the season. This award is regarded as the footy media’s Brownlow or Gold Logie.
