Melbourne based Julian Simonsz, has had a passion for singing for as long as he can remember. Over the past few years he has taken this passion on board and completed a Bachelor of Audio Production at Melbourne’s SAE Institute, he performed at various Melbourne venues and built his YouTube profile online.

Since his departure from the show Julian has started performing at multiple gigs including opening act for multi-platinum Urban artist Chingy, and at some coveted venues such as Etihad Stadium for the AFL, AAMI Park for the NRL, at the MCG High Tea at the G for the McGrath Foundation and as the headline act at the Australia Day Festival held at Docklands Melbourne.

Despite high profile performances it is Julian’s original music that is his biggest passion. Taking to the studio to work with renowned producers Michael Paynter and Mike Delo of MSquared (Masketta Falls, Imogen Brough, Nussy) Julian co-wrote a self titled EP bringing together his niche pop / soul / RnB sound which had a presence on the iTunes chart reaching #16 (singer songwriter) and #42 (pop). The debut single I Do It For You reached #42 on the iTunes pop chart with successful regional and community airplay and mood media across the nation. The music video involves fans from his facebook page of over 37,000 likes, and has had over 200,000 views. The second single Get Home To You is currently reaching local and regional radio nationally with further syncs including Coles Radio (over 14 million listeners weekly across 760 stores). Julian has just taken that funky energy as heard in the single to complete his Get Home Tour across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane which received rave reviews from audiences and venues across the nation for his pitch perfect and energetic performances of his original tracks and an impressive and versatile range of covers. Julian is making a name for himself as that rare type of artist who is both phenomenal on stage and a pleasure to deal with, impressing audiences and event organisers time and time again proving why he is on the way to being the nations next household name.
