The Chantoozies

Fresh from a sellout national tour with UK’s Bananarama, The Chantoozies continue to wow audiences with their dynamic blend of pop and rock.   The last few years have seen ‘one of Australia’s hottest bands’ release two new singles, appear on countless TV & radio shows and perform around the country (most recently as part of the Gold FM concert series)
The girls originally formed for a one off show at the renowned Melbourne Underground Nightclub, where they received an overwhelming response and gained their first residency.

A recording contract with Mushroom Records quickly followed and The Chantoozies found Top 10 success with their first single ‘Witch Queen Of New Orleans’.

Touring Australia extensively they entertained audiences with their hit songs ‘Wanna Be Up’, ‘Kiss & Tell’ & ‘Love The One You With.

The Chantoozies shared the stage with many top Australian acts including Noiseworks, Boom Crash Opera, James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Hoodoo Gurus and a 38 show Australia wide tour supporting international act Billy Joel.

After taking time out to pursue their individual careers, the girls reunited for ’25 Years of Mushroom Music’ at the MCG and then again in 2007 for the national ‘Countdown Spectacular’ tour.
