Summertime Jazz

Summertime Jazz are a premiere Melbourne based Jazz band who are perfect to play for your event, whether it be a corporate function, wedding or house party, Summertime Jazz will add something special to your event.

They are a sophisticated and lively act made up of Saxophone, Double & Electric bass, Guitar and Drums, with this line up the band will create the most vibrant atmosphere.

The bands exciting repertoire covers the best of Jazz performing the hits from Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock to the smooth and elegant sounds of Brazil’s Bossa Nova. They also mix up their repertoire by performing contemporary pop songs in their unique lounge Jazz style. At each of our gigs many people compliment us on our song selection from the young and elderly, we have something for everyone and there’s nothing like sipping on a drink or enjoying your meal while listening to one of your favourite songs being performed live in a cool Jazzy style.

All the members of band have completed extensive study at some of Melbourne’s most renowned colleges such as Melbourne University’s Victorian College of the Arts and Box Hill Institute. Each member has a broad experience performing in various musical ensembles all across Melbourne, ensuring a high level of skill and professionalism.
