Silhouette Jazz combines the creative talents of Victorian College of the Arts and Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts alumni to provide you with the perfect blend of Swing, Latin and Ballad styles of Jazz for your wedding, corporate event, Gala dinner or private function.
Silhouette Jazz performs both as a trio and quartet. The trio is comprised of guitar, upright bass, and drums. The quartet is comprised of vocals, guitar, upright bass, and drums.
Silhouette Jazz offers versatility with every performance. They can begin mellow and provide a relaxing mood for your guests to enjoy your event. They can also provide a vibrant mood for your guests to share in your celebrations with dancing. When you book Silhouette Jazz the choice is up to you as to how you want your event to feel.
Silhouette Jazz has a repertoire including 101 tunes. This includes 55 tunes for the trio and 46 tunes for the quartet. This range of tunes gives you great choice in how your event feels.
The repertoire is built on classic Jazz standards (derived from show tunes) often played by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Michael Buble, Kurt Elling, Norah Jones and Diana Krall.
The music has been specially arranged to cater for audiences that enjoy musical finesse and is presented unobtrusively so that your guests enjoy themselves.
The members of Silhouette Jazz are: Marlene Sidhu (vocals), Kerry Mitchell (guitar), Adam Spiegel (acoustic bass), and Michael Ooi (drums).
