Biography

Imagine if your boss hired a couple of clowns to help out around the office? don’t imagine it, see it for yourself!

Quade and Ruby are the mad-capped angry office clowns parodying life in the work place and set to a sound scape of the tapping of an ancient type writer, they twist and turn mundane everyday tasks into hilarious comedic routines. Transforming the banal into the bizarre they staple, file, lick and stick, phone and dial as they get stuck in traffic on the information super highway.

Getting nothing done has never been so much work!

Available as a roving act or as a small static (could say situational?) performance.

Quade and Ruby are played by two of Brisbane’s most loved comedic performers, Annie Lee and Clint Bolster.

Annie Lee is a professional actor, singer and comedian who has worked extensively in theatres and festivals throughout Australia and Europe over the past 23 years. Annie is well known for her mulit-character solo cabaret shows, The Kransky Sisters and her work as director and performer in her highly acclaimed street installation shows at the Woodford Folk Festival; The Perkin Family Freak Show, Freek Street, Potato. The Cleavers Family Wreckers, The Woolfzingers, and most recently, Koo Koo Ka Choo, The Village OF Stanmore.

Clint Bolster is a professional actor, stilt performer, street performer and clown who has work extensively in theatres, schools, festivals and corporate events throughout Australia and Asia. He has worked with companies such as Universal Studios Japan, Queensland Theatre Company, Queensland Arts Council, Debase Productions, Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre, Frank Theatre , Princess Cruises, and Lightwire Theatrical Productions.

Together, they combine 30 years of experience to create a wide variety of rehearsed and improvised, high quality and entirely original characterizations.
