Mark Waugh made his name as a middle-order player for New South Wales in the late 1980s, twice winning the Sheffield Shield Cricketer of the Year titles as he built and maintained a first-class average in excess of fifty.
Mark Waugh’s test cricketing career commenced in 1991 when he replaced his brother Steve in an Adelaide Vs England test. He went proceeded to score a majestic century on debut
His role in the Carlton Series in 2000/2001 Vs the West Indies & Zimbabwe is also a cherished cricketing memory. He scored the most runs in convincing style and scored the highest one day innings by an Australian (173). He has played highest number of consecutive test matches (107) and holds the world record for the most catches by a non wicketkeeper
Mark Waugh is well remembered for his role as opening batsman In the 1996 World Cup where he scored 3 match winning centuries. Based in NSW, travels Australia wide (extra fees involved).
