Biography

Let opera singers, Marco Cinque and Carmela De Losino, take you on a journey through time in an event of glorious singing. Captivated audiences have revelled in their beautiful renditions of operatic classics, musical theatre and Italian songs such as Nessun Dorma; O Mio Babbino Caro; La Donna e Mobile; Tonight; Time to Say Goodbye; Granada; I’m so Pretty; On the Street where you Live; and, O Sole Mio.

This talented pair is accompanied by acclaimed pianist, Maestro Gianni Turcio, who has performed and recorded for both radio and TV throughout Australia as a pianist, conductor and composer.

Carmela and Marco have both studied in Australia and in Europe and have been the recipients of many vocal awards and scholarships. Marco was honoured to be invited to sing for Maestro Luciano Pavarotti. These opportunities have lead them to sing numerous principal roles in operas such as Cavallaria Rusticana, La Boheme, Andrea Chenier, Suor Angelica for opera companies throughout Australia as well as singing in concert for numerous cultural and corporate functions both here and in Italy.
