Larissa

Singer/songwriter Larissa effortlessly creates a warm and upbeat atmosphere with her unique & soulful sounds. Larissa has over 16 years of performing experience, across three continents, slipping easily from intimate backyard performances, to wowing large crowds at music festivals.

Along the way she has supported Boy & Bear, Renee Geyer, Sarah Blasko, Gabrielle Aplin, Mark Seymour (Hunters & Collectors) to name a few. She has jammed with INXS in London, won a American Billboard song-writing award and been a finalist twice in MusicOz. Her songwriting and performance style has been compared to Missy Higgins and Sade and her unique take on diverse covers will keep you guessing.

A naturally engaging vocalist and songwriter, Larissa has performed across Australia, USA and the UK over the past eight years. What makes Larissa an outstanding performer is her versatility and creative arrangements of songs from Motown, pop rock, electronic dance music, bubble-gum pop and songwriter classics.

A self-taught pianist, Larissa enjoys taking known songs and making them engaging, beautiful and unique.

Larissa believes that live music brings an event or space to life. Having grown up dancing, singing and acting on stage, Larissa has the ability to feed off an audience and environment to match the atmosphere in the room. Audience members off all ages often comment how beautiful and easy her voice is to listen to.

For those shows that require more upbeat rhythmic drive, she has a percussionist/drummer who accompanies her performances.
