Biography

Kirra is one of Australia’s most exciting performers and vocalists. Kirra graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University School of Music in 2015, majoring in jazz voice and both during her training and since, has been making a name for herself performing on stage and winning various awards for her work. In 2016 Kirra joined the cast of The Diamonds with SMA Productions, and was a Top 30 Semi-Finalist in the prestigious 2016 & 2018 Rob Guest Endowment.

This lead to her being cast as understudy for the roles of Rachel Marron and Nicki Marron in the Australian premiere tour of hit show The Bodyguard The Musical, with the Gordon Frost Organisation, and returning to the QPAC in the role of Joanne in RENT, with Matt Ward Entertainment. Kirra has supported artists such as Touch Sensitive, The Aston Shuffle, Conrad Sewell, James Arthur and Jess Glynne, and is currently a lead vocalist on The Ministry of Sound Orchestrated Australian Tour.

Testimonials

Just a quick note to say a massive thank you for our wedding. You guys sounded epic and the song choices were awesome.
We have had a truck load of people say how good you were and how much the DF rocked!
You really helped to make it a great day/night for all of us.
We will be recommending you to anyone who wants a band suggestion.
THANKS AGAIN!!!

Dylan and Amy

Music is the ultimate way to create atmosphere at an event and Kirra created the perfect feeling at our wedding.

They picked wonderful songs to set the tone for our romantic ceremony and we couldn’t have asked for a better version of “At Last” for my walk up the aisle. Then they pumped up the beat and got everyone dancing at the reception, creating the most amazing party mood which DJ Alex kept going late into the night. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the music all night and ever since.

We would have no hesitation in highly recommending Kirra for your wedding or special event.

Lisa and Scott

I just wanted to say thank you so much again for your commitment and sacrifice this past weekend, we really love it that you’ve been a part of our events for our music! You have an amazingly special gift, and you’ve touched so many people with your talents!

Lee & Lynette

I know we told you yesterday how beautiful your rendition of the song was, but I wanted to take a moment and tell you how it touched our hearts so deeply. Not only our hearts, but the hearts of so many who attended.  I am still getting emails and text messages from people who wanted me to tell you what a beautiful young woman you are, what a perfect voice you have and what a tender song you performed.

Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts.
