Dark Eyes are a Gypsy Band in Melbourne, an energetic exuberant, rapturous five piece dance band for indulging in ancient folklorique sounds with an edge of unequivocal conviction. They play the best mix of Gypsy Music, Balkan Beats & Greek Folk with an organic beauty that is rare and unforgettable! Their hypnotic melodies, hot rhythms & fiery vocals are mesmerising. Their sound is sensuous and intoxicating, created by an exquisite combination of violin, clarinet, piano accordion, bass, percussion & bouzouki. From the Spiegeltent to Europe’s liveliest bars, and Australia’s greatest music festivals Dark Eyes have ventured the world music circuit in full swing. In 2007 the band toured Europe and took France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Holland by storm.
