Biography

Grace, beauty, fire and passion, Gavin’s romantic nylon string and earthy steel string guitar playing is the finest in town. This act is fantastic for restaurants, intimate weddings, functions, and wineries.

Originally from Kent England, Gavin studied classical guitar with Perth virtuoso Stephan Bulmer and Colin Reeves. He went on to complete his Jazz music training at the Perth Conservatorium of Music and was soon on the world stage.

He has performed at numerous venues and festivals including the Bellingen Global Carnival, Manly Jazz festival, the Basement, The Vanguard and many, many more.

Gavin Performs with Leading Sydney Guitar band Urban Gypsies, Alchemy and European vocal duo/trio Breakfast at Tiffany’s. He is a highly sought after session player and teacher and plays a sophisticated mix of acoustic and semi-acoustic Jazz/Latin and contemporary guitar styles.
