Electra Strings present stunning & dynamic string musicians and orchestras for live television, recording sessions, tours and events.

Electra Strings exclusively provide the string section on Australian TV shows Dancing With the Stars, Australia’s Got Talent & X Factor.

Airlie and Sally have a background in the Symphony Orchestras of Australia. Sally started performing as a soloist with the major Australian Orchestras at the age of 9. Airlie played with the Melbourne & Adelaide Symphony Orchestras for 4 years before a chance meeting with Music Director Chong Lim & an unforgettable performance with The Village People led to her quartet being offered a featured performance on Dancing With the Stars. The girls were then asked to come back every week as a part of the band (bringing a team of string players with them each week) Sally + Airlie are also lucky enough to travel the world with their electric violin show – Elektra.
