Biography
Concertino is a classical guitar and clarinet duo with styles including jazz, popular and classical. Concertino is well suited to providing light background music, and is particularly suitable for wedding ceremonies and dinner functions. The duo regularly performs at private and corporate functions, and weddings across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Catherine – Guitar
Catherine is a classically trained guitarist and arranger. She has a Diploma in Classical Guitar from Trinity College, London, and is closely affiliated with the Queensland Guitar Society. Catherine has performed across Brisbane as a solo guitarist, and with a variety of duos and larger ensembles. Catherine currently holds teaching and ensemble director positions with prominent Brisbane schools.
Allison – Piano / Clarinet
Allison is formally trained on piano and clarinet, and studied music theory and history at the University of Queensland. Allison has performed in Brisbane musical theatre productions and as a member of local ensembles and bands. Since 1995, Allison has performed at weddings and functions across Brisbane in the duo “Concertino”.
