SHOW OPTION ONE: “Glamour Galore” GOLD SET SHOW

Our Glamorous burlesque dance show, “Glamour Galore Gold Set Show” is vibrant and flirtatious with our live, interactive singer recommended but not obligatory.  Featuring songs from the hit movie ‘Burlesque’, combined with old favorites, this tasteful, jazz burlesque show is a sultry, special show for any party.

Through song and dance, our gorgeous girls are seductive and playful. This show has been created to suit corporate events, so although it is burlesque inspired, we steer clear of traditional burlesque unveiling and instead we take a theatrical approach to the style. Our costuming is still “Show girl” attire as seen in our examples given.

The theatrics begin…

Combining the new movie, ‘Burlesque’ with true, vintage Colombian and American styled burlesque, our show begins with a sexy, slow overture which introduces our gorgeous gals to the dance floor.

Their first number starts the show off with a bang. The highly energetic all girls dance number “Show me how to burlesque.” Straight after this dance number, the singer is introduced as she sings “Fever”. Following this solo spot, we welcome the guys and gals to the dance floor as they slowly move in between your guests with great impact and end up on the main stage, as the vocalist sings the classic “Big Spender”. Who would ever have thought that simply walking could be so seductive? Staying true to the well-known term ‘burlesque’, the dancers rove with large feather fans, as the stunning live vocalist interacts with your guests as she makes her way down, off the stage, onto the lap of unsuspecting guests!  The singer seduces the crowd and interacts with your guests (in a very tasteful way only) as the gorgeous dancers perform on the main stage.

Re-introducing the guys and gals to the dance floor, with sounds of big band burlesque music, we see the fabulous character driven number from the Burlesque sound track “I am a good girl”.

Adding the perfect wow factor, the show then introduces the circus act of Silks or Aerial artistry. Our gorgeous performer will really add the unexpected element to the show, captivating any crowd and impressing your guests. This solo is truly beautiful and the perfect touch to this already fabulous, energetic corporate production.

The show then moves back into the more traditional, exotic “cooch” dance style, as our Glamour Galore Gals flaunt their stunning figures whilst dancing; complete with a live vocalist and flexible dancers, accompanied by their handsome male dance partners in the resilient routine “Tough Lover”. A character driven, boppy, playful dance routine.

As a grand finale, our fabulous interactive vocalist and dancers perform a traditional up-tempo jazz dance routine to “Diamonds are a Girl’s best friend”, a modern day cabaret dance number.

ABOUT TRADITIONAL STRIP TEASE BURLESQUE:

Although in use since the 17th century, burlesque really became immortalized during the Weimar Republic era in Germany, both in cabaret clubs and with the Marlene Dietrich film, ‘Der Blaue Engel’ (The Blue Angel).

Burlesque, in our particular instance, means extravaganza and was popular from the 1860s to the 1940s, often in clubs and cabarets as well as theatres and was performed in a variety show format in the U.S.  Burlesque ‘variety shows’ in America often featured comedy or caricature, and most commonly, a female striptease.  Hollywood, in 1930s to the 1960s, recreated the idea and concept of these performances and later developed them further with burlesque-style scenes in theatre and films, such as ‘Cabaret’ in 1972 and ‘All that Jazz’ in 1979. Burlesque made a major comeback in the 1990s, and so we have created a seductive, tasteful, burlesque show for you to incorporate into your next event.
