Queensland Jazz & Swing Duo for hire
V & D Jazz and Swing Duo
Vibeke and Dan are a Queensland based Jazz & Swing Duo who can also use a highly professional and experienced Bassist and Drummer when performing as a Trio, Quartet or larger ensemble.
Audiences are captivated by their unique, warm and welcoming stage presence.
Vibeke’s rich, smooth and dynamic voice combine magically with Dan’s brilliant, inspired and imaginative piano playing. They perform an entertaining mix of Jazz, Swing, Latin, Contemporary arrangements, Ballads and Originals.
The two have been performing together since 2014. They have released albums “Don’t go to strangers” in 2015, and most recently “I took a chance” in July 2017 in collaboration with Newmarket Music Melbourne.
They are releasing their third album in 2018.
Performances include; Noosa Jazz Festival (Main stage) Australia in 2015, Bay of Island Jazz Festival, New Zealand in 2016, The Dan P Trio with Vibeke at EUROPAfest Bucharest, Romania in 2016, Auckland and Wanganui Jazz Clubs, New Zealand in 2016 and 2017, Corporate gigs, Restaurants, Community events, and various Queensland Jazz Clubs including Brisbane Jazz Club in 2017
