Jazz Australis has maintained traditional Jazz instrumentation generating a sound that is rich in texture yet unobtrusive. Taking the time to understand your particular needs Jazz Australis is a versatile ensemble that is just as at home playing at a private residence or a multinational corporate function.

The band is professional in all areas of the entertainment business and play with a maturity that has come from years of entertaining clients throughout Australia.

The band is made up of highly experienced players who all began their musical adventure at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Since this time Jazz Australis has ventured into many musical situations and featured at a number of different festivals including the Noosa Jazz Festival and Brisbane Valley Jazz Festival. Jazz Australis has also performed at graduation ceremonies for Griffith University, and played for such high profile clients like Reg Grundy, Sarina Russo, Kevin Rudd, Peter Beattie and the Premier Department, Government House.

Jazz Australis has supported acts like Vince Jones, Monica Trapaga, Glenn Shorrock and The Little River Band, and Vanessa Amorosi just to name a few.
