Josh Earl

Josh Earl is an award-winning comedian, TV host, and creator of the hugely successful and hilarious podcast Don’t You Know Who I Am?

We know he hosted Spicks and Specks for a season and was a Breakfaster on 3RRRFM in Melbourne, you may even know him as a writer for The Project or from headlining comedy rooms all over Australia, but who exactly isJosh Earl.

Born in 1981 (three years before self esteem was invented) in the industrial town of Burnie in Tasmania to young but tired parents. Their hands-off approach to parenting led to Josh experiencing more than his fair share of bizarre stories, like the time at 12 he disappointed his Mother when he refused to be “the Stripper” at his Aunties Hens Party, or when at 10 he discovered he had a long lost sister who had only lived a 20 minute drive from them her entire life, or when at 16 he wet himself at his register when working for a supermarket because his boss wouldn’t let him go to the toilet.

It is these crazy but true stories that fill Josh’s comedy year after year in his sell out shows at Festivals all across Australia, whether it’s talking about The Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book, his days as a school librarian or his latest show Josh Earl Talks.

“Hilariously pointed and poignant” The West Australian

“5 Stars Do not miss! Spectacular” – The Clothesline

“You’ll want him to stay on stage as you realise his show is about to come to an end” – Herald Sun
