Jason is an exceptional actor, writer and comedic performer. In 2002 he co-created, co-wrote and starred in the Tropfest winning short film Wilfred which also earned him the award for Best Male Actor, an award he was to win again in 2003 for Buried. Wilfred went on to screen and win awards at festivals around the world including Sundance and Palm Springs. The SBS spin-off series Wilfred has become an Australian cult hit and has won numerous awards including an AFI for Best Comedy Series. A second series of Wilfred has been commissioned for 2008.

Jason is best known to Australian audiences as Mark Wary, the apologising sportsman on Network Ten’s The Wedge. This character’s switch on appeal has lead Jason to develop a spin-off series about the private world of this affable sports star Mark Loves Karen Sharon broadcasting on Network Ten.

A prolific writer and creator of programs, Jason has his own production company with projects in development including Jason and the Residents, which he is co-producing with Foxtel for Comedy.

In 2008 Jason will be seen in Australian cinemas starring in the feature film Rats and Cats.
